Start with a welcoming entrance
You do not need a huge front garden to make a festive impression. A hanging ball beneath a suitable porch or a light-up wreath against a plain background can give the entrance a clear point of interest.
The 28cm hanging ball is an appealing starting point. If you have more space, compare it with the larger hanging designs in the collection. Measure the space and check the hanging arrangement before deciding, especially where a door needs room to open.
Give your garden a centrepiece
For a more prominent display, look at the reindeer and swirl trees. Choose a position that you can enjoy from the house as well as from the street, then leave a little clear space around the decoration so its shape stands out.
The collection includes different sizes and finishes. A smaller stag can work as a single feature, while a taller tree creates more height. Compare the dimensions of each piece with your space rather than choosing by LED count alone.
Try a Christmas lamp post display
The 150cm gold wire lamp post offers another way to add height. We like the idea of using it as the main feature near an entrance, with a smaller decoration nearby to connect the display.
Keep the arrangement simple: one tall piece, one lower accent and a consistent lighting colour can look very effective. Check the individual colour description when combining products, as the collection includes different white-light options.
A smaller decorative detail: the light-up butterfly
For a different shape within the range, our Lumineo gold wire butterfly with 240 LEDs is currently £12.99. Its delicate outline offers another way to bring a little sparkle into a seasonal display. Check its product information for the intended position and setup.
Plan the practical details
Before ordering, check the product dimensions, lead length, intended location and power requirements. The featured pieces above are mains operated with an included transformer; follow the instructions for the complete setup and positioning.
Larger items can have different delivery arrangements, so check the relevant product page. If you are visiting Southwood in Cottingham, you can also explore our Christmas displays for ideas.
